Then the apprenticeship as a tool mechanic is just the right thing for you!

Your tasks

As a tool mechanic you will construct, maintain and repair complex insertion and progressive composite tools. In focused and precise work you ensure that everything runs smoothly in the later series production. You will learn various skills such as milling, turning and grinding for the machining of tools in stamping and forming technology during your apprenticeship. Further tasks include functional testing of the tools and recommissioning of our production facilities.

Your perspectives

Tool making is an important area of our company. We need well qualified and trained toolmakers in order to produce perfect products in the required quantity for our customers. Since qualified employees are highly sought after in toolmaking, we invest heavily in the further qualification of our employees. 

We offer periodic internal and external training courses, e.g. TIG welding, surface technology and many more. Following the apprenticeship, it is possible to work in various areas within toolmaking, for example in new toolmaking or maintenance.
A later qualification to work in project management or quality management is an option, as is a career in a leading position with several years of good qualifications.
